Sheena is the 900.15.2 Head Coach for the 2009-10 club season.

This is her first year as a coach with 900VB.

Her previous coaching experience comes from her one year as a JV coach in 2006 at Norman North High School and from assisting with multiple OU camps/clinics.
Sheena hails from the University of Oklahoma (as does 900 COach Meredith Grady (Van Horn)) where she was a full scholarship volleyball athlete from 2001-2005. During her time with OU, Sheena played an instrumental role on the volleyball team and succeeded in a utility player role due to multiple injuries on the team and her natural athletic abilities. She recorded numerous serving and kill records throughout the seasons and was named co-captain her sophomore year.
Sheena also participated on the OU Track & Field team as a high jumper through her sophomore year. During her time with the track team, she qualified for indoor Big 12s.
Prior to her time at OU, Sheena was a two-sport athlete at Calvert High School in Tiffin, Ohio. She was a four-year starter as an outside hitter on the Calvert High School volleyball team and a participant on the track and field team. As an All State, District, and League Selection and team captain Sheena lead the volleyball team to many victories and set the high school high jumping record (which still stands). During the “off” season, Sheena played club volleyball for Black Swamp her first years then joined Glass City Volleyball Company before she went to college.
In addition to being an athlete, Sheena excelled in the classroom. During her collegiate years, she was named multiple times to the Big 12 Commissioner’s and the OU Dean’s Honor Rolls. She graduated in 2005 with her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing and minors in Management and Sociology. Then Sheena elected to continue her education while working in the OU athletic department as a graduate assistant for the compliance scholarship and financial aid division. In 2007, she graduated with a Master of Human Relations.
Sheena still competes in the DFW area whether it is indoor or sand volleyball tournaments or leagues.
She is now employed by Jacobs Engineering as a corporate recruiter.
