Scott began playing volleyball in high school and played at Texas Tech University as a middle blocker. He transferred to the University of North Texas where he played as an outside hitter and was the captain of the team in 1998 when UNT won the Southwest Conference.
Scott began playing beach volleyball in college and went on to play professionally on the AVP tour and several other tours in the midwest for 12 years. He was sponsored by Powerbar, Oakley, Third Degree Sportswear, Freestyle, and Aloe Up. He formed the 692 beach volleyball program for juniors in 2006, which has won every division of regionals every year since it's formation. 692 continues to be the most successful beach volleyball program in the Southwest.

Scott continues to play beach and indoor and in 2008 his USAV indoor team won Regionals and went on to compete in Nationals. He played on the 900 Coed team that placed 4th at Adult Nationals is 2008. 

Scott's 2008-09 900.16.1 team qualified for Nationals!

He is currently a Chiropractor in Flower Mound. 

Scott is CAP II certified
