Meredith GradyMeredith enters her fourth year as a club director and 900 17.1 Coach.

She has 14 years of club volleyball coaching experience. While attending OU she helped form and coach the first volleyball club in Norman, OK. After graduating college and moving back to DFW, she has coached for 5 different club programs at various age levels.  Her 2008-09 900.17.1 team qualified for Nationals!

Meredith graduated from Grapevine High School in 1995, she played Varsity there for 3 years under Rick Johansen (along with 900 Coach Ranee Hoss (Lloyd).  While at GHS she compiled many school records as she lead her teams into the playoffs. As a junior she was named Best Setter-Grapevine Tournament, All-Tournament Team-Birdville Tournament, Setter of the Year for District 5-5A, All-NE Tarrant County Team, 1st Team All-District. That club season she played for Mid-Cities top 18s team. This team won the Tour of Texas, PeachTree, and 3rd Coast and received an OPEN invitation to Nationals in Austin, TX.

Her senior year at Grapevine she led her team to the Regional Semi-Final match where they lost to the eventual state champion, Amarillo. The awards she collected this year included: Best Setter—Duncanville Tournament of Champions, MVP– Grapevine Tournament, All-Tournament Team-Birdville Tournament, MVP—District 6-5A, MVP—All NE Tarrant County Team, 1st team—All-Star Telegram, 1st Team All-Area, 1st team—All-State TGCA, and 1st team All-State AP. This year she also received the G-Award (team MVP).

After her senior year, she played club volleyball for TNT under Rick Johansen. This team won the Tour of Texas Tournament, She received All-Tour Team honors, they also won PeachTree and CajunLand. They also received bid to Nationals in Orlando, FL.

She chose to go to OU to continue her volleyball career (as did Sheena Werling - 900.15.2 Head Coach) and play under 2-time olympian Miles Pabst. While at OU, she was a four-year starter. She set and still holds numerous OU and Big 12 records in side-out scoring. She was named to the All-Tournament Teams at: Purdue, University of Kansas, and MVP at the Wake Forest Tournament. Every year she was named 1st Team Academic All Big 12. She was named the 1998 Big 12 Senior Scholar, 1998 Trish Lundeen Team MVP Award and
1999 NCAA Oklahoma Woman of the Year.

After college she moved back to Grapevine and continued to play adult volleyball. She played for the Dallas Cobras (a professional volleyball team) in 1999, the league folded prior to the Cobras joining the league.

In 2002 her women's team played in Adult Nationals, they finished 2nd in Women’s A Division, where she was named an All-American. She also played on a Men’s A team and was named Tournament MVP in Dallas twice and to the All-tournament team once.  900 Coaches competed in Coed Nationals in Phoenix finishing 3rd (2010), Minneapolis finishing 3rd (2009) & Atlanta in 2008, finishing 4th.  900 sponsored a Women's team at Adult Regionals in 2009, the team placed 2nd!

From 1999-2002 she attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. She was named "Best Intern" out of her graduating class, August 2002.  She was the captain and coach of the Parker College volleyball team all three years; they competed in the Chiropractic Olympics each of those three years.

In 2002, Dr. Meredith opened
Hands on Health Chiropractic in Grapevine, and she is still practicing there. She is one of the few chiropractors in the area to offer True Spinal Decompression on the DRX 9000C.

Over the past 14 years she has run a number of High School volleyball camps including : Preston(MN), Grapevine, Colleyville Heritage, L.D. Bell, Springtown, Justin-Northwest , Euless-Trinity, Aledo and Argyle.

Always up for a challenge, Meredith played on the 2005 Dallas Diamonds Women's Pro Football Team. She played tight end / wide receiver. The team won the Women’s Professional Football Superbowl; and she has a Superbowl Ring to prove it! She retired after one season :)

Meredith gives free seminars for parents and players on "How to be Recruited"-A Pro-Active Approach to the Recruiting Process. Meredith is CAP I certified (2009) & was IMPACT certified in 1997.

Meredith is on the North Texas Region Board of Directors and the Junior's Board of Directors.

Meredith & Ryan were married 8.8.08 in Jamaica!
