Jo CaymeJhoana "Jo" is back for her 4th year with 900VB!

She was the 14.2 Head Coach for the 2009-2010 season. 

She was the 900 15.2 Head Coach for the 2007-2008  & 2008-2009 seasons. 

She is also a private lesson & Team Camp instructor for 900.

From 2005-2007 she was an assistant coach at Texas A&M International University, which made three conference tournament and two regional tournament appearances in their young five year program. In her two years there, she comes away with a 49-12 coaching record while also helping TAMIU set a new school record for winning percentage finishing the 2006 season with a 24-5 record. Jhoana has also spent the past three years assisting with summer volleyball camps at TAMIU and spent two summers running her own volleyball camp at St. Augustine Middle school in the Dallas area. She spends her free time as a volunteer basketball and volleyball coach at Mary Help of Christians School in Laredo for 5th graders.
 
Jhoana graduated from Lancaster High School in 2002.  She played varsity for 4 years under Beverly Humphrey.  Throughout her high school career, she was named to the Academic All-District team all four years and was named the District Defensive-Specialist of the Year her senior year.  She received All-Tournament Team awards 7 times and was also the recipient of the following awards: 1999-2000 All-District Honorable Mention; 2000 Best Server; 2001 Best Server; 2001 Best Defensive Specialist.  While at Lancaster, Jhoana also lettered twice in basketball and once in track. 

After graduating high school, Jhoana received a full scholarship to play at the University of Texas at Brownsville, which was a Division I NJCAA at the time. She spent two years there before transferring to Texas A&M International in Laredo, Texas. She spent only year playing there before taking on one of the assistant coaching positions.
 

After college, Jo took over a rebuilding program at Lakehill in Dallas where her teams are coming off of the most successful season in 7 years. She serves as the head volleyball and basketball coach.
