Jessi is traveling to South Korea for one year to teach English! We will see herback on staff at 900 for the 2012-2013 club season!
Jessi was the 900.16.1 Assistant Coach for the 2010-2011 club season.
This is her 2nd year at 900!
Jessi is a L.D. Bell High school graduate. At L.D. Bell she was a four year letterman and played under coach Vickie Griffin. Jessi helped lead Bell to three District Championships and one Area Championship. In 2000-2004 she was named 1st team all-district and in 2003 she was named Defensive player of the year.
Jessi played club volleyball for TNT with Lezlie Logan (900.13.1 Asst. Coach) and was coached by current 900 coaches : Brad Reichmuth and Meredith Grady (Van Horn).
Jessi went on to play college volleyball in Rhode Island at Bryant University. At Bryant, Jessi was named “Freshman of the week” numerous weeks during the season. Jessi was named All-Conference Freshman of the Year in 2004. After her freshman year, Jessi transferred to Texas Tech University where she received her degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
Jessi is the Head 8th Grade volleyball coach at Central Junior High and assistant coach at L.D. Bell High School. She is also teaching 8th grade U.S. History at Central Junior High.
Jessi played on the 900 Adult Coed Team that finished 2nd in Adult Nationals in 2011 (Dallas).
