David is the 900.18.1 Assistant Coach for the 2009-2010 club season.
This is his first year with 900.
I have coached for approximately 12-13 years. I started with Coppell Classic assisting on the 2nd 16’s team, then co-coached on the top 18’s team. This club switched names to Texas Juniors DFW, here I head coached and assisted on the top 16’s, 17’s and/or 18’s.
After this, I stayed on through the merger to Dallas Synergy where I assisted on the 16’s and twice on the 18’s. Every year that I have coached my team has finished in the top 10 of the region. I have had 2 teams finish 3rd at a National Qualifier, one finish of 2nd at Regional’s and several top 10 finishes at National Qualifiers.
I have played volleyball for about 14-15 years. I started playing when I was 27 and love the game. I am married (Phoebe) and have 8 month old twin girls (Adelais & Aislynn). I live in Roanoke and work at Luna and 635.
I coach with the preference to win, but know that it is just a game at the end of the day. If I am given 100%, then I ask nothing else. I want the girls to love this game, have fun playing it and enjoy every opportunity they are given by it.
