Bivin is the 900.12.1 Head Coach for the 2009-10 club season.

This is his first season at 900.

Bivin began playing beach volleyball in high school and went on to play at Texas Tech University as a middle blocker.

He moved to California five years ago to pursue a career on the AVP and CBVA pro beach tours full time and just moved back to Dallas in 2009 to work on his PhD in Mathematics at SMU. 

Bivin has been coaching volleyball for 8 years in Texas and California.

Bivin coached for Texas Image in 2004 and was a club coach for SanDiego Juniors and an assistant coach for the University of California at San Diego from 2005-2009. He is currently ranked as a player on the AVP for 2009.
